2858446 - Restful Interface VU is not starting up

Symptom

  • You are running installing Restful Interfaces (RI) but the Virtual Units (VUs) are not activating and stay yellow in the Infrastructure Administrator (IA)
  • RI Tomcat (RiTomcat_ServerName_VUName_RCI) logs capture the following errors:
    • ERR> (org.apache.tomcat.util.net.SSLUtilBase#getStore) Failed to load keystore type [JKS] with path [[YOURINSTALLATIONDIRECORY_RCI\RestfulInterfaces\cert\keystore] due to [Illegal character in opaque part at index 2: ...
    • ERR> (org.apache.catalina.core.StandardService#initInternal) Failed to initialize connector [Connector[HTTP/1.1-8443]]....
    • Caused by: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: jsse.alias_no_key_entry
