Resolution
Pre Requisites:
There will be a checkbox in Manage Recruiting Settings that need to be enabled. However, in order to make this option available the instance needs to be using DPCS 2.0 and there are two options that needs to be enabled in provisioning:
- Provisioning > Edit Candidate Privacy Options > Data Privacy Settings >
- Provisioning > Edit Candidate Privacy Options > Data Privacy Settings > Enable internal data privacy agreement set up(requires Version 11 UI framework (ULTRA))
Attention: Once the above checkboxes are enabled, you will not be able to disable. Contact your implementation partner and discuss the possible effects of enabling those features.
How to Enable:
Once the prerequisites are met, you can navigate to Manage Recruiting settings > General Data Privacy Settings and enable the checkbox: Allow Recruiting users to access candidate information if they have accepted one of the versions of the Data Privacy Consent Statement
Behavior after enabling the feature:
After enabling such feature, all the candidates that have never accepted at least ONE Data Privacy will not appear for the candidate name search, candidate basic search or any talent pool this candidate has been added.
If the candidate accepts at least one version of the data privacy or the recruiter accept the data privacy on behalf of the candidate using "Set DPCS Statement Status" the candidate will become available again.
If you add a candidate to a talent pool and this candidate has never accepted any Data Privacy, once you turn this feature on you will see a message in the talent pool informing that a candidate has not accepted the Data Privacy.
"You cannot view some candidates in this talent pool because of the restricted visibility setting on their profile, or the candidate has not accepted the Data Privacy Consent Statement"
