2858806 - Message Center - Archive, Soft and Hard Delete

Symptom

Archive, Soft and Hard Delete Messages are all added to Message Center for the b1911 release

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

Cause

The Option to Delete Messages will automatically appear in Message Center with the deployment of the b1911 Release

Resolution

  1. Go to Message Center -> Delete option appears on the top right hand of the screen.

  2. When the Message is Soft Deleted, the message will then be moved to the 'Deleted Only' folder.

 3. To Hard delete the Message, you can go to the 'Deleted Only' folder then select the 'Delete' option again. This will permanently delete the message. Before the message is deleted, you will see a Confirmation message.

 4. You also have the 'Restore' option, which allows you to move the Message back from the Deleted folder to the 'All Messages' folder.
