2858989 - Changing legacy transfer date gives error FAA_CMP043

In app Make Company Code Settings you want to change the legacy transfer date but the error FAA_CMP043 blocks without further information.

• SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Enter the app Make Company Code Settings.
2. Navigate to the company code.
3. Enter the Legacy Transfer Tab.
4. Change the date, trying to save will prompt the error. 

You tried to change the status of the legacy data transfer (LDT) segment back to a previous status, for example from Ongoing to In Preparation.
To avoid data inconsistencies, it is only allowed to change the LDT status according to the lifecycle:
In Preparation -> Ongoing/Ongoing (Other Postings Allowed) -> Completed.

As long as no legacy assets have been created for this LDT segment, you can delete this LDT segment and create a new one with a new status.
