How to deactivate a SuccessFactors instance? 

Open a new support case under the component LOD-SF-PLT-DEC. Within the request description, please provide:

• CompanyID to be deprecated.
• System Role (BizX, JAM, ONB, etc).
• Your clear written approval to erase all the information. Example: "I herebey confirm that <Company Name> would like to decomission <Company ID> - <System role>".

Please be aware that this procedure is irreversible.

What is the process to deactivate an instance?

1. We'll engage our Decommisioning team with this request.
2. They'll deactivate the instance as the primary procedure.
3. The instance will remain inactive for 30 calendar days.
4. Finally, the whole data will be deleted.

If you are looking for early purge, please inform this in the description as well.

Note

• If you are partner requesting a decommissioning on behalf of a customer, please provide a email from the custom domain confirming the decommissioning request and that it is understood this irreversible.
• When deleting a Bizx Environment, the SFTP account linked to it will not be impacted. However, in case it is required to delete the SFTP accounts, you may request it, informing the SFTP acocunt information details.
• It is possible to request a decommissioning of an instance in advance. For example you could open a request 1 month in advance, so the decommissioning process where the instance is set inactive will start on a requested date a month from now.
• If a letter of destruction is required for the decommission, the customer can request this from their CSP, once the decommissioning is completed
