Role-Based Permissions (RBP) can be use to manage access to Basic User Import in Employee Central-enabled instances.

To enable this control, Navigate to Admin Center > Manage Employee Central Settings > activate "Enable Control on Basic User Import in Role-Based Permissions". Once enabled, only users assigned the Basic User Import permission through RBP can perform basic imports.

To assign the Basic Import permission, Navigate to Manage Permission Roles > Select the Role desired > Administrative Permissions > Employee Central Import Settings > Import Employee Data > Basic User Import



When this permission is enable, only users who are granted with the Basic User Import permission can perform basic import (Admin Center > Import Employee Data > Basic Import).
