2859664 - BAPI_QUALNOT_CREATE: temporary number returned for notification - %00000000001

Symptom

  • While creating new quality notification with BAPI BAPI_QUALNOT_CREATE, the export table NOTIFHEADER_EXPORT returns temporary number in field NOTIF_NO (%00000000001) instead of a regular number (like 200000358).
  • Number assignment is not working in BAPI BAPI_QUALNOT_CREATE. The BAPI does not return any error for missing notification number in table RETURN.
