Resolution

To enable Forward as Applicant feature you can do this two ways:

Provisioning: Requires assistance from partner.

  1. Download the application template
  2. Configure the forward as applicant button similar to the below.

    <button-permission>
    <role-name><![CDATA[O]]></role-name>
    <role-name><![CDATA[G]]></role-name>
    <role-name><![CDATA[T]]></role-name>
    <role-name><![CDATA[S]]></role-name>
    <button-id><![CDATA[ForwardAsApplicant]]></button-id>
    </button-permission>

  3. Upload the application template.

Manage Templates: This can be completed from the admin center with the relevant RBP permissions.

  1. Go to Admin Center.
  2. Manage templates
  3. Job Application
  4. Select the template you want to edit
  5. Select Button permission

  10. Select Done
  11. Publish the template

Once the template has been published, you will be able to see "Forward as Applicant" as an option when you select to move a candidate:

Note: Please note that the action user who forwards the applicant needs to have view permission for default status in target Job Requisition.

Please notice that the "Source Value" in SAC Reports will not generate any value. Please feel free to use Adhoc report instead.

Please also note that when forwarding as applicant on an Evergreen Job Requisition, it is standard that you will see all Job Requisitions, not just child Job Requisitions.

In order to forward as applicant to unposted jobs, users need to ensure they have the box “Include unposted jobs” checked.

Note: Forward as Applicant feature honours the candidate's visibility setting (only relevant if Make My Profile Visible to is configured). Forward as applicant is based on the Privacy setting that a candidate sets on the My candidate Profile, Make My Profile Visible to option.

The candidate privacy settings affect forwarding a candidate using the Forward As Applicant functionality. While forwarding the candidates as an applicant, if the candidate privacy setting has restricted view then the candidate isn’t forwarded to a Job Requisition.

Please note that as of 1H 2023 release, it will be possible to forward candidates from an Evergreen Job Requisition to its child Job Requisition(s) regardless of the candidates' visibility settings.
