2860710 - SAP Commerce Cloud - Missing or wrong hostname error prompted when trying to access 3rd party URLs

Symptom

After recent Debian and Apache security upgrades, when trying to access 3rd party URLs or backend components that are not configured to web servers, the following error is displayed:

“Missing or wrong hostname”
