2860822 - Inactive Candidate Profile with In-Process Application being Purged by DRTM Inactive Candidate Purge - Recruiting management

Inactive candidate profile which has an active application is showing as "to be purged" in DRTM Inactive Candidate Purge report.

However, in Manage Recruiting Settings page, "DRM 2.0 Candidate Purge: Do not purge Candidate Profile if there are existing applications in the system for that candidate" is enabled.

1. Set a DRTM Inactive Candidate Purge job in Data Retention Management, then check the report in Purge Request Monitor.
2. See the candidate is shown as "to be purged". However, the candidate has an application which is active in an open job requisition.

If the candidate doesn't accept the DPCS within the Period of Non-Acceptance configured, he/she will be purged even though he/she has an active application.

The Period of Non-Acceptance could be configured by following steps:

Manage Data → DRTM Candidate Profile >CANDIDATE → Period of Non-Acceptance of DPCS

The application will remain in the same in-progress status. In case, customers wants to purge this application, then there are 2 options for type of scenario:

• Move the application to any disqualified status manually.
• If the switch in Manage recruiting settings is enabled "Automatically disposition non-selected in-progress applicants on closed requisitions to status 'Requisition Closed' and the job requisition is closed, then the application will be moved to "Requisition Closed" status and the system will mark the application for anonymization. In order for the system to purge this application, the switch in Manage Recruiting Settings "Consider job applications with the status "Requisition Closed" for purging" needs to be enabled. 

 This is considered expected behaviour and has been confirmed by Product Management.
