2861177 - KUT field is cleared in QC when Account is being entered


In a Quick Create screen (for example Visits), you have a KUT field. You select a value for this field but as soon as the Account is entered, the field value is cleared.

Reproducing the Issue

Prerequisite: a KUT field ABC (ABC stands for the name of the field) in the Quick Create screen for Visits (for example).

  1. Go to the Visits work centre.
  2. Click New to create a new Visit.
  3. Enter a value for your KUT field ABC.
  4. Now enter an Account

Result: the KUT field as being cleared and shows blank now.


The field ABC has an extension scenario enabled Accounts -> Activity. Hence whenever the account is entered in QC, the relevant value is being copied from this Account.

The value is being cleared / changed because in the newly selected account there is no data for this field / or the field is not added in the account.


If the behavior is not intended please deactivate the extension scenario.
