2861221 - Changes in Job Information or Workflow Approvals takes a long loading time and is not saved or approved

• When making changes in Job Information, the system loads for a long time upon saving and eventually does not get saved
• When approving Workflows, the system loads for a long time upon approval and would not get approved 
• Application Error fingerprint=84cc91b57c6f77a667d5248d64813d71bb462727 appears in the Browser Logs when saving changes in Job Information or approving a Workflow

1. Go to an Employee's Profile > Take Action > Change Job and Compensation Info.
2. Enter an effective date and change the Position.
3. Save the changes.
4. The system loads for a long time but eventually, the changes are not saved.

   Job Info after loading finishes. It goes back to the MSS Page and the changes were not saved.
   
   

Note: An Application Error can be found in the Browser Logs by right clicking on the browser and Inspect Element > Network Tab > essMssActionControllerProxy.saveAction.dwr upon clicking on Save.

This is caused by the "Threshold for running Adoption of Reporting Line and Job Relationships as a job being" set to 0.

In Position Management, set "Threshold for running Adoption of Reporting Line and Job Relationships as a job being" to a value between 5 and 20. This is the recommended value.

1. Go to Position Management Settings > Hierarchy Adaptation.
2. Set "Threshold for running Adoption of Reporting Line and Job Relationships" as a job to a value between 5 and 20.
3. Save the changes.
4. Repeat the changes in Job Information or approve the Workflow once more.
