Symptom

Function module CONVERSION_EXIT_PLMAM_OUTPUT dumps, when executed in transaction SE37. No DUMP occurs when the function module is called from a program, like report PLM_FMEA_ARC_CHECK.

Error analysis
An exception has occurred which is explained in more detail below. The exception is assigned to class 'CX_SY_DYN_CALL_ILLEGAL_TYPE' and was not caught in procedure "CONVERSION_EXIT_PLMAM_OUTPUT" "(FUNCTION)", nor was it propagated by a RAISING clause.
Since the caller of the procedure could not have anticipated this exception, the current program was terminated. The reason for the exception is:
The method call for method "CONVERSION_OUTPUT" of class "CL_PLM_AUDIT_CONVERT_SERVICES" contains errors. An attempt was made to pass an incompatible variable to formal parameter "IV_INPUT".
