2862186 - How to update job requisition from Recruiting Management to Recruiting Posting and on job boards

I edited the content of my job requisition in Recruiting Management. Can I update it and how on external job boards through Recruiting Posting?

Recruiting Posting is getting the updates from Recruiting Management. Meaning that the fields that are mapped between both systems will get the new information next time the job requisition is opened in Recruiting Posting. These modifications can be transmitted to different job boards even if the job is already published.

To get the changes in Recruiting Posting and transmit it to job boards, you need to reopen the Recruiting Posting form and validate all posting steps:

1. Go to job requisition > Job postings > Job Board Posting - Recruiting Posting
2. Actions menu > Edit Post
3. Go through all posting steps and confirm

Modifications will be transmitted to job boards and applied, if accepted.

Here are some behaviors to be aware of:

1. If no rule is set for a field between RCM and RPO, this field will keep the value filled when the job requisition was published previously.
   
   
   
   
   
   
2. If a rule is set for a field and each RCM value is mapped to a value in RPO, the field will always be filled with the corresponding value.
   
   
   
   
   
   
3. If a rule is set for a field but no RCM value is mapped to a value in RPO, the field will be emptied each time the job requisition is edited in RPO.
   
   
   
   
   
   
4. If a rule is set for a field but not all the values are mapped in RPO, the field will be updated when the value from RCM is mapped and be emptied each time if the value from RCM isn't mapped.
   
   
   
   
   
   
5. If a rule is set for an RCM field which is not mandatory, the field in RPO will be emptied each time if no value is set for this field in RCM.
   
   
   

To check the rules and what is mapped or not, if you have the "Manage Recruiting Posting" permission, you can access Manage Recruiting Posting > Field Completion.
