2862378 - G/L Account cannot be created without Company Code in the YCOA

Symptom

You want to create/copy a G/L Account without Company Code, however, you are receiving the Error message: Create G/L Account in at least one company code.

Environment

SAP S/4Hana Cloud

Reproducing the Issue

1. Go to App Manage your Solution

2. Configure your Solution

3. SSCUI 150001 - Manage G/L Account Master Data

Chart of Account: YCOA

Copy Button > greyed out

Cause

In S/4HANA Cloud is not possible to create G/L Accounts without company code for the YCOA Chart of Account.

YCOA is the operational Chart of Account and G/L Account without company code would be useless, since it cannot be used anywhere.

Resolution

Follow the steps in the Scope Item J58 in the Word document, session 4.1 Manage G/L Account Master Data.
