2862432 - Unable to connect to DirectConnect TRS Services - (30001 Severity: 16 Service [Servername] not found.)

Symptom

  • Using isql a user could no longer connect to the DirectConnect Transaction Router Service (TRS).
  • Connection refused. Service 'Servername' not found.
  • DirectConnect log shows:

    30001 Severity: 16 Service [Servername] not found. Note: If using Service Name redirection, user ID is case sensitive. <SMR>
