2863602 - New Hire Activity - Welcome Message default text not translating - Onboarding 1.0

When a Hiring Manager uses Spanish as the default language and uses default text in New Hire Activities checklist for Welcome Message to a new hire that has also Spanish as the default language, the message displays in English given that the translations have been set in Configure New Hire activity planning process.

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding 1.0

1. Login to the instance and go to Onboarding 1.0 Module
2. Access the NHA tab
3. Select the new hire that has a different locale (make sure that the hiring manager also has the same default locale set in BizX)
4. Go to the Welcome Message and click on the default text.
5. The text displays in English instead of the candidate's and Hiring Manager's default locale (e.g. Spanish). Refer to below screenshots:

In the current Onboarding 1.0 feature, this is a system design.

• Preday 1 user enabled, language will be the same as the language from provisioning. By default, it is English.

• If no preday 1, it means onboarding 1.0 doesn't recognize the language for candidates at all, we use default English language.
