2864106 - Changing field labels or messages via Career Site Builder - Recruiting Marketing

Symptom

How to change the field labels or messages in all languages on an RMK site built with Career Site Builder (CSB)?

  • SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Marketing
  • Career Site Builder

Resolution

You can override the value directly in CSB via the Translations tool:

  1. Career Site Builder > Tools
  2. Select Translations (1)
  3. Adapt the locale filter (language) (2)
  4. Find the Resource Key and edit the value

Note on UDM (Unified Data Model): The Translations tool cannot be leveraged to change RCM Field labels. 
UDM consumes the labels configured in the requisition templates so label changes must be done there. Localised labels must be configured so that these can be retrieved by the API and made available in UDM.

Please ensure you have configured default as well as translated values for field labels as well as picklist values for all the locales implemented.  Not populating these for the properties you want to publish will affect field and data availability in UDM.
