2864299 - Cost Element determined during order costing is not according to Activity Master Data

Production Order is created and order costing was performed. Checking the Cost Element for certain activity confirmation, you may find the Cost Element is not the same as in Activity Type Master Data - Allocation Cost Element.

Allocation Cost Element will be saved into database table once Cost Rate Planning happened. This Cost Element can't be changed anymore during the Fiscal Year. Even you change the field "Allocation Cost Element" in Activity Type Master Data, system will still get the Cost Element from the database table.

To prevent inconsistencies in data planning, it's not possible to change the determined Allocation Cost Element during the whole Fiscal Year. You can change it in the next Fiscal Year, or create one Activity Types instead.
