Error when creating a record type for Learning Items: Failed to open TCP connection

SAP Jam Collaboration

1. Navigate to SAP Jam admin console
2. Expand Integrations
3. Select External Applications
4. Click Action for SuccessFactors Learning, select Manage Record Types
5. Click Add Record Type
6. Fill in the information then click Create

Error:

Failed to connect with the external application due to a network socket error.

The external application returned the following error:'401', message:'Failed to open TCP connection to https://xxxxx.plateau.com:443 (getaddrinfo: Name or service not known)'.

The "Service provider (Protocol, Host, Port)" field in the SAP® SuccessFactors® Learning configuration in SAP Jam has the "https://" value.

1. Navigate to SAP Jam admin console
2. Expand Integrations
3. Select External Applications
4. Click Action for SuccessFactors Learning, select Edit
   
5. Remove the "https://" value from the URL as this is already pre-defined from the dropdown
