Synchronize position matrix relationships to job relationships of incumbents is missing on Position Management Settings

SAP Successfactors Employee Central - Position Management

1. Navigate to Admin Center
2. On Tool Search, search for Position Management Settings
3. Go to Synchronization tab
4. Notice that the option "Synchronize position matrix relationships to job relationships of incumbents" is missing.

The association for Position and positionMatrixRelationship is not visible on the Position Object under Configure Object Definition

In order for the option "Synchronize position matrix relationships to job relationships of incumbents" to appear in Position Management Settings, the visibility of association from Position to positionMatrixRelationship should be set as "Editable".

To fix this, please follow below steps:

1. Navigate to Admin Center
2. Click on Company Settings
3. Select Configure Object Definitions
4. Select Object Definition
5. Select Position
6. Click on Take Action > Make Correction
7. Scroll down to Associations
8. On the association for "positionMatrixRelationship", click on Details
   
   
   
   
9. Change the Visibility from Not Visible to Editable
   
   
   
   
10. Save the changes.
