2866008 - Analytic Application and Story are hanging after opening

When trying to run/open an Analytic Application or Story directly in edit mode that are based on BW the designer starts, but it is loading endlessly.  New apps are working, but existing ones cannot be opened anymore.

SAP Analytics Cloud 2019.20.4

Open a Story or an Analytic Application in edit mode connecting based on BW Live connection.

Product defect / program error

The fix is being prepared from development side.

Issue doesn't occure if the specific Application or Story is based on empty or HANA data source.

• Workaround 1:

add mode=view to the App Link for example https://YOURTENANT.sapanalytics.cloud/sap/fpa/ui/tenants/81cf6/app.html#;mode=view;view_id=appBuilding;appId=113BB2EE829A9F49F4751DC161F2AB05 and after that change to mode=edit

• Workaround 2:

In Main Menu --> Browse --> Files --> <YOUR APP FOLDER> --> Hover the mouse on affected application --> select More actions (three points) --> Open in view mode

As soon as application is loaded go to Main Menu --> Browse --> Files --> <YOUR APP FOLDER> --> double click on affected application
