Select a user to be an operator in a Job Requisition and you will see that for the user position there is an entry "Alternate Employment"

When filling the operator of a Job requisition, "Alternate Employment" is displayed under the name of the users.

The position title displaying with the user name when searching for a user is part of a new b1911 feature called Enhanced People Search. It is a cross-module feature and is enabled by default for all customers.

 "Alternate Employment" will be displayed when the users either have employment empty, or two entries in employment.

Another reason  "Alternate Employment" will display is if the user does not have permission to view the title itself.

WORKAROUND 1: If needed, create a position and assign the user to it. This is a standard naming for users that are not part of the Org Chart but are still part of the SFSF system, like admin users, api users, service accounts, etc.

WORKAROUND 2: If the user is assigned to a position but  "Alternate Employment" still shows, this may be a permissions issue. You can check this by navigating to the following:

1. Go to Admin Center > Manage Permission Roles
1. For Non Employee Central users, find it in Employee Data > Title
