Symptom

  • After migrated primary database to Oracle 12c release (12.1) with Automatic Storage Management (ASM) 19.
  • RAO rcvd the following error:
    • DBCONTEXT com.sybase.ds.oracle.asm.ASM Context Unexpected exception querying ASMAlias for name <+XXX/XXXXXXX/ONLINELOG [DIRECTORY] > Error: java.lang.IllegalStateException:
      ASM version <19.0> is not supported.
