Symptom

  •  There are issues with work processes failing on IBM i and stopping completely.
  • In SM21 there will be errors like "fork:restart 22"
  • In the dev_disp there will be errors like "
    ERROR => DpWpCreate: restart of work process -1 prohibited by parameter as4/wp_max_restart
    ERROR => DpWpDynCreate: DpWpCreate [dpuxdisp.c 295]"
