Symptom

During the ASE upgrade using SAPHOSTCTRL, the upgrade failed with the following error:

C:\Program Files\SAP\hostctrl\exe>saphostctrl -function LiveDatabaseUpdate -dbname <SID> -dbtype syb -updatemethod Execute -updateoption TASK=UPDATE_ASE -updateoption DROP_LOCATION="<INSTALLATIONPATH>"

Error: Command execution failed. : Failed to remove file: C:\Program Files\SAP\hostctrl\exe\sapssfs.dll. (fault code: 127)
