2868032 - Unable to Assign an Employee as Manager to an Org Unit

Your requirement is to assign an Employee to an Org unit as Manager, however when you go to the Org Unit you are not able to find this Employee in the search help for Employee or Manager assignment.

SAP Hybris Cloud For Customer

1. Go to Organization Management
2. Select Edit Org Structures
3. Highlight the Org Unit
4. Go to General tab
5. Select the value selection for Org Unit Manager

One of the reasons can be that Employee is Active however the corresponding Business Partner is Inactive.
You may check the same following the below steps:

To check If Employee is Active:

1. Go to Administrator workcenter
2. Select Employees view
3. Select view as Active Employee
4. Search for the required Employee

If the Employee shows up in the search results that means the Employee is Active.

Note: Also if the Employee has Valid To Date in future that means Employee is Active

To check if Business Partner is Active:.

1. Go to Business Partner workcenter
2. Select View as Active Business Partner
3. Search for the required Business Partner

If the Business Partner shows up in the search results that means the Business Partner is Active.

Update the Business Partner Status from Obsolete to Active.

1. Go to Business Partner workcenter
2. Select Business Partner view
3. Search and the required Business Partner
4. Select Change Status button
5. Select Active and save

Org Unit Manager,  Employee Status , Business Partner status , KBA , LOD-LE-OM-OM , Org. Management , Problem
