2868595 - Number of clicks is very low - Recruiting Posting

Symptom

I've used Recruiting Posting to post jobs on multiple job boards. However, for some job boards, the number of clicks is very low when I check the statistics.

"Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental."

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Check the values in the Job posting status table
  2. In the column Clicks you will see the number from the job board

Resolution

This "Clicks" number is calculated by the Recruiting Posting custom link sent with the postings, and used when the candidate click on "Apply" on the job board. If this custom link is not published by the job board, there will be no count.

Other possible reasons to have a low number of clicks are:

  • The jobs are not searchable in the job board. You will need to contact the job board and check with them if there's a problem with the visibility of your job for candidates;
  • Candidates opted out to click
  • The job board does not redirect candidates to a job posting, and records the candidates' application, so no clicks are registered
