2869578 - "no Job Repository User assigned (Note 2664638)" in SM21

Symptom

The system was recently upgraded to S4/HANA 1909. During the upgrade process the creation of the SDMI users should happen. A user was created in every client in your system except for client 000. In the meantime, errors such as below occurred in transaction SM21:

  • Client 000 - no Job Repository User assigned (Note 2664638) 
  • Client 100 - no Job Repository User assigned (Note 2664638) 
  • Client 200 - no Job Repository User assigned (Note 2664638)

Also there are entries related to scheduling a batch job:

Error scheduling a batch job
> client XXX
> Job R_JR_BTCJOBS_GENERATOR
> Batch user SAP_SYSTEM does not exist
