Environment

SAP Business ByDesign

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Field Service and Repair work center.
  2. Go to the Service Confirmation view.
  3. Open Service Confirmation ABC and go to Services and Spare Parts - Time Reporting tab, the Start and End Date fields are both for example 2019-11-26. (ABC represents the ID of service confirmation)
  4. Go to the Document Flow tab, click the Journal Entry icon in the service confirmation flow to open the corresponding Journal Entry. The Posting Date is a different date, for example 2019-12-04.

In case the Fixed On date is not filled in service confirmation, the Fixed On date refers to the Creation On date which is 2019-12-04. Hence, in the following Journal Entry is 2019-12-04.

Resolution

This is the designed system behavior.
