2869986 - Instance Sync - Error while syncing foundation objects: "Provided File Locale is either not a valid locale or it is not included in the selected language pack"

While trying to sync foundation objects using Instance Sync tool, customer is receiving the error "Provided File Locale is either not a valid locale or it is not included in the selected language pack".

SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite

As per current product design, Instance Sync supports the sync of foundation objects only if en_US language pack is enabled in the instances.

• Enable en_US from Admin Center -> Manage Languages and save.
• Perform the sync of foundation objects using instance sync tool again.

Note: Engineering team is working on removing the dependancy of foundation objects sync on en_US language pack. There is no ETA as of now. Kindly watch the future release notes for more information. (Support Engineers can check the internal memo for more details).
