2870608 - How to request the initial transport from Q to P

You want to know how to request the initial transport request from Quality System to Productive System (QtoP).

After the initial activation of the solutions that you configured in the Preset phase, you get access to the Q system again in the Realize phase. To trigger the P system provisioning, you click the Request P System button in the Configure Your Solution app. The P system is then provisioned by the Service Center. While the P system is being provisioned, you can change the configuration in your Q system with the Configure Your Solution app. You cannot release your configuration in the Q system for transport into the P system until the P system is available. Once the P system is available, you can click the Proceed to Deploy button to trigger the initial Q to P transport.

When all technical processes have successfully run in the Q system after clicking the Proceed to Deploy button, the implementation phase in the Q system is automatically set to the Change phase. The purpose of the Change phase is to further optimize and automate the operability of the solution. A change project in the Q system is required if you would like to change the configuration of your system during the Run phase in the P system.
