This article explains the Posting ID field in both RPO and in RCM.

Resolution
For RPO, Posting ID is a unique value for each job posting in Recruiting Posting side. This field is passed from Recruiting Posting to the job board and they can decide if they will display this value or not in their website or URL.
As for Recruiting Management, it will also be a unique value for each job posting: Corporate Posting will have a designated unique value, Internal Posting will have another one, Private Postings each will have a unique value as well, and Agency posting will have another. They won't change as the jobs are being posted and unposted. This value is related to the Job Requisition, for that reason, if a candidate applies to a requisition, the posting ID might not be related to the specific posting they have applied to. You can obtain this field using Adhoc Reporting.
