Symptom

  • Error 10353 is raised for a user with sa_role
    • which is the 'sapsa' login in Business Suite systems
  • When altering sybsecurity database:

alter database sybsecurity on my_dev = 2
go

Msg 10353, Level 14, State 15:
Server 'ASE', Line 1:
You must have any of the following role(s) to execute this command/procedure: 'sso_role' . Please contact a user with the appropriate role for help.
