2872245 - Setting the legacy transfer date in app Make Company Code settings gives error FAA_CMP078

Setting the legacy transfer date in the app "Make Company Code Settings" error FAA_CMP078 (Only one open FY is allowed if legacy data transfer is at end of year) is raised.

S/4 HANA Cloud

1. Enter the app Make Company Code Settings.
2. Enter the legacy transfer date and other settings per Scope Item J62.
3. Save the parameters, and the error is raised.

For the legacy transfer date to be set there needs to be one open year is asset accounting.

Check each ledger to see what the last closed fiscal year and the current open fiscal year is, if the current fiscal year is not open the run the app Carry Balances Forward for the required year for each ledger. Once complete then it will be possible to set the legacy transfer date.

Example, legacy transfer date input is 31/12/2018. This would require a closed fiscal year of 2018 and a current fiscal year of 2019.
