2872301 - Error 623 hit by Rep Agent running in sync mode - SAP ASE 16.0

Symptom

  • Rep Agent using streaming replication (sync mode) hit Error 692 error reported in the ASE errorlog:

Error: 623, Severity: 21, State: 1
Adaptive Server failed to retrieve a row via its RID in database 'MYDB' because the target page is not a data page. Rid pageid = 0; row num = 0. Page pointer = 0x0x20574c000, pageno = 0, status = 0x300, ptnid = 99, indexid = 0, level = 0, pnextrno = 12.

  • Rep Agent is shutdown and steaming replication is disabled:

Shutting down Rep Agent for database, 'MYDB' (dbid = 12).
Rep Agent on database 'MYDB' switched from mode 'sync' to mode 'async' because of a shutdown.
