2872650 - Performance problem problem observed when importing data from BW to public dimensions in SAP Analytics Cloud

The following behavior occurs in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC):

• When trying to import a characteristic and some of its attributes into a public dimension it takes more minutes.
• Characteristic presentation for the characteristic and for the attributes is different.
• On BW side (RSTT) thousands of BICS_PROV_GET_PRESENTATIONS calls generated.

• SAP Analytics Cloud 2019.21.8
• SAP Business Warehouse Import (Acquired) Data

1. Logon to SAP Analytics Cloud.
2. Import a characteristic and some of its attributes into a public dimension.
3. Notice that loading the data takes multiple minutes.

This issue is caused by SAP Analytics Cloud Agent.

Update SAP Analytics Cloud Agent to the latest available version.
