Symptom
- The Class Request Demand Met Email Notification APM sends notifications when it finds that the number of requests for an item matches or exceeds the minimum number of enrollments set at the class level.
- The Class Request Demand Met Email Notification is being sent out even if the class has a blank minimum enrollment value.
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Learning
Cause
The system considers a blank minimum enrollments to be equal to zero (0).
Resolution
- The Product Management team stated that they designed the LMS so that if the minimum enrollments field is left blank, the LMS will treat it as zero, thus explaining why the Class Request Demand Met Email Notification was triggered.
- For example, if a user registers for the class, the number of requests (1) becomes greater than the minimum enrollments threshold (0), triggering the Class Request Demand Met Email Notification to be sent to the designated contact email.
