2873601 - Error Message in New Key Figure: Key Figure ABC is Not Correctly Defined

You are creating a new calculated key figure, but after maintaining the formula you receive the error message:

Key figure ABC is not correctly defined (ABC stands for the name of your key figure).

1. Go to the work center Business Analytics and select the view Design Key Figures.
2. Click New.
3. In step 2, enter a key figure name, a data source and select the type Calculated Key Figure.
4. Click Next.
5. In step 2, enter your formula.
6. Click Next.

You receive the error mentioned above.

The formula is incorrect. Several causes are possible. One cause would be if you are setting up a calculation using other key figures and they do not have the same unit (or one of them has a unit of measure and the other one does not).

Correct the formula. In our example, if one used key figure has a unit, remove it by adding NODIM to the formula.
