2874360 - Order lead time shorter than expected in Optimizer log

Symptom

You have a certain lead time for transport between two locations, let’s say:

Lead Time = GI + Transport Duration + GR

But sometimes, running optimizer you observe the created order’s lead time is one day shorter than expected.

For example:

Transport Duration = 48 hours

GR duration = 2 days

Order start date = 21/10 – 00:00:00

Order end date = 24/10 - 23:00:00

Seems the lead time is 3 days and 23 hours.

You expect the order end date to be on 25/10 – 00:00:00.

The same is observed in the product view (/SAPAPO/RRP3) when using time zone of location and in the optimizer result log.
