You want to know how Involved Parties have been determined for an Opportunity.

SAP Sales Cloud

The exact determination method can be checked in the Sales Team facet (resp Involved Parties facet) of the Opportunity, in the column Determination Method which is hidden by default.

Determination Methods can be:

-Provided by an Unspecified External Source - usually a manual entry in the UI; this trumps any automatic determination.
-Provided Automatically by Responsibility - automatic determination as per Involved Parties Determination
