2876038 - OCIEnvCreate error when creating repository connection - Data Services

Symptom

  • Add an Oracle repository to the job server and the following error occurs:
    Error " CON-120404: Initialization OCI call <OCIEnvCreate> for connection <Database> failed: <Database User>."
  • Oracle variables have been correctly set in the PATH and LD_LIBRARY_PATH.
  • Database can be accessed with User account outside the failing machine.
  • SQLPLUS command line fails to connect due to user access rights.
