2876138 - How to Select New Library Business Object in OData Service Explorer

Symptom

Your requirement is to create an OData service for the New Library work center, but you are still able to see the old Library business object in OData Service Explorer.

Environment

SAP Cloud for Customer

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Administrator work center
  2. Select OData Service Explorer
  3. Select Custom OData service
  4. Select New
  5. Select Business Object
  6. Search for Library

Cause

The New Library work center was introduced to add the folder structure and authorization feature. Authorization related data is store in Document_facade business object and all document related data is store in Document business object.

Resolution

The New Library data is stored in two business objects which are as below and you will be able to search for both the business objects in OData Service Explorer:

  • Document
  • Document_Facade
