2877125 - How to verify the S-user ID to enable data acquisition in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

• S-user is required to request subaccount to set up data acquisition in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) hosted in SAP Data Centers (NEO)
• S-user is also required to add subaccount in SAP Cloud Platform (SAPCP) cloud connector to enable data acquisition (see help)
• How to verify the S-user ID associated to one SAC user to complete the configurations

Requesting subaccount in SAC

1. In SAC, go to System > Administration > Datasource Configuration.
2. Click the Edit pencil icon.
• In SAC hosted in SAP Data Centers (NEO), you need to enter your S-User ID associated to one SAC user.
• In SAC hosted in non-SAP Data Centers (Cloud Foundry (CF) / AWS), you need to enter email address of one SAC user.

Adding Subaccount in SAPCP cloud connector

1. Launch the SAPCP cloud connector administration page and log on: https://<HCC HOST>:8443.
2. In the navigation panel, select Connector, then select  Add Subaccount.
3. Add your account information.
• Subaccount User: S-User ID for SAC hosted in SAP Data Centers (NEO) or email address for SAC hosted in non-SAP Data Centers (Cloud Foundry (CF) / AWS).
  => Note: it should be same as the value entered when requesting subaccount in SAC.
• Password: S-User password.

Log on to https://accounts.sap.com/ui/protected/profilemanagement by using same email address of the SAC user and then find User ID, which is the S-user ID associated to SAC user.
