2877150 - Billing control category is not editable

Symptom

In the Plan Customer Projects app, when trying to change the field Billing Control Category, the field is not editable.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Plan Customer Projects.
  2. Go to work packages tab.
  3. Select a Work Package and click edit.
  4. The Billing Control Category field is not editable. 

Cause

Actual time postings have been recorded for an item related to this Work Package.

Resolution

This is the standard system behavior.

Once actual time postings have been recorded for an item related to the work package, it is not possible to edit the Billing Control Category.
