2877205 - Error 605 after executing CREATE CLUSTERED INDEX on a round-robin partitioned table. - SAP ASE 16.0

Symptom

  • A process is terminated due to Error 605:

Error: 605, Severity: 21, State: 1
An attempt was made to fetch logical page '968' from cache 'default data cache'. Page belongs to database 'db1' (4), object 'tb1' (992003534), index 'tb1' (0), partition 'tb1_1040003705' (1040003705) and not to database 'db1' (4), object 'tb2' (864003078), index 'tb2' (0), partition 'tb2_880003135' (880003135).

  • The failed process was creating a clustered index on the table tb2.
     
  • A stack trace with the following functions is reported in the ASE errorlog:
