2877929 - New Hire's name is not showing in Onboarding Dashboard

Symptom

New hire's First Name and Last Name does not show in the Onboarding Dashboard

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding 2.0

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Access the instance
  2. Proxy as Hiring Manager
  3. Click Onboarding dashboard
  4. New hire's full name shows blank     

Cause

Appropriate permission with the correct target population is not assigned to Manager's role.

Resolution

The following Permissions are required:

  1. Employee Data > View and edit permission for first name, last name, location, job classification, status
  2. General User Permission > Company Info Access and User Search
  3. Target Population > All External user
  4. Remove: Employee Export
  5. Remove: Admin access to MDF OData API under Metadata Framework

Once Done, please perform the following:

  • RBP Refresh (Company Settings > Refresh RBP Permission Configuration > Refresh)
  • OData Refresh in UI (OData API Metadata Refresh And Export > Refresh Cache)
