2877982 - Warning message: Conflict detected in item XX of Service Confirmation ID XYZ; release not possible.

When you are trying to release a Customer Invoice, you get the warning message "Conflict detected in item XX of Service Confirmation ID XYZ; release not possible." and release of the invoice is not successful.(XX is the Line Item numer and XYZ is the ID of  Service Confirmation)

 SAP Business Bydesign

1. Go to Customer invoicing Work center.
2. Go to Invoice Documents.
3. Search for Invoice ABC and click on Release Button
4. The warning message: "Conflict detected in item XX of Service Confirmation ID XYZ; release not possible." appears and the release is not successful.

The issue is occuring because Reason for rejection is set for this particular line item in Service Confirmation after the invoice was created.

To resolve the issue, you have to cancel the Customer Invoice.

1. Go to Customer invoicing Work center.
2. Go to Invoice Documents.
3. Search for Invoice ABC and click on Cancel Button and save your changes
