2878040 - Side-by-side install gives errors in Advantage and other processes - SAP Advantage Database Server

Symptom

  • "Error 1: 2259 2: <Path>\Advantage Database Server for Windows x86_64 v11.10.msi 3: 4: while creating side by side install." when trying to create a side-by-side install.
  • Error: "Only part of a ReadProcessMemory or WriteProcessMemory request was completed." when trying to start another process if multiple ADS instances are running.
  • Error: "The application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect" when trying to start another process if multiple ADS instances are running.
