2878276 - Unable to Find Customer Field for Project Type Direct Cost Project

You are creating a Direct Cost Project and want to assign a customer, but the Customer field is missing.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Project Management Work Center.
2. Select New Project in the Common Tasks.
3. Select Project Type as Direct Cost Project .
4. Fill mandatory details.
5. Navigate to the third step Define Project, then you notice that the Customer field is missing.

To view the Customer field for the Direct Cost project type, the business feature for creating project invoices based on actuals for internal projects needs to be scoped.

1. Go to the Business Configuration Work Center.
2. Go to the Implementation Projects View.
3. Select your implementation project.
4. Click Edit Project Scope.
5. Click Next till the Questions step of the project.
6. Select Scoping Element Project Management > Project Planning and Execution >Projects.
7. Select the question 'Do you want to create project invoices based on project actual for internal projects?'
8. Click Next.
9. Click Accept Preselected Answers.
10. Click Save.
